Red Knot Outfitters is owned and operated by Bill Stewart, a passionate Delaware birder for over thirty seven years. Previously, Bill was the Director of Conservation and Community and currently, Director of Young Birder Camp Programs for the American Birding Association. His experienced knowledge of Delaware's birding hotspots, species identification skills, education career and engaging personality ensures all participants a rich birding experience. Red Knot Outfitters' guides have extensive teaching and birding experience and an intimate knowledge of birding Delaware and all it has to offer.
"Holly Merker is a professional birding guide and environmental educator based out of Chester County, Pennsylvania. She is a birding instructor, and assistant director, for the American Birding Association's teen birding camp "Camp Avocet" based in Lewes, Delaware, and an instructor for National Audubon's Hog Island Camp in Maine. When not instructing or teaching, she can be found working on various bird conservation projects, with an emphasis on bird migration. Holly is passionate about her work as a field educator, and interpreting the world of birds to people of all ages, and delights in connecting people to the magic of migration, and the rest of the outdoor world.
